Booking Guidelines

(i) All Bookings shall be done through Manager, SHOURYA Convention Centre.

(ii) Deposit to the extent of 50% of the total applicable user charges shall be accepted towards advance payment for booking.

(iii) Confirmation of booking shall be done only on payment of advance only.

(iv) The final payment shall be made prior to 30 days from the date of event. In case booking is made 30 days prior to event full payment at the time of booking.

(v) All the payments shall be accepted through Demand Draft (or) INTERNET BANKING only.

(vi) All Bookings shall be considered on first come first serve basis.

(vii) In case of two or more applicants applying for booking SHOURYA Convention Centre on same day for conducting an event (ceremony) on same day, then preference will be given to the ceremony as per the following Order of Preference table:

1st Preference Daughter’s Marriage of a Non-Gazetted Employee of Police Department.
2nd Preference Daughter’s Marriage of a Gazetted Employee of Police Department.
3rd Preference SON’s Marriage of a Non-Gazetted Employee of Police Department.
4th Preference SON’s Marriage of a Gazetted Employee of Police Department.

(viii) In case of any other dispute with regard to booking, the decision of the Managing Committee shall be final.

(ix) The details regarding conduct of event including timings etc., shall be agreed to in advance and strictly adhered to. The event shall be completed within the date and time as mentioned at the time of booking. In case there is more than One Booking on same date, the event must be cleared within the stipulated time.

(x) The permission for conduct of an event is not transferable and shall be valid for the period agreed to initially.

I. USER CHARGES FOR SHOURYA CONVENTION CENTRE:

III. SERVICES & ADDITIONAL CHARGES:

SUITE ROOMS (Police – Welfare) 2 Rooms included with booking as complimentary. Additional Rooms @ Rs.1,500/- per room (excl GST)

DIESEL CHARGES FOR GENERATOR DIESEL to be borne by the applicant. 15 Litres / Hour @EXISTING FUEL RATES for 82.5 KVA 40 Litres / Hour @EXISTING FUEL RATES for 200 KVA

IV. OTHER SERVICES:

CATERING To be selected from any of the service providers empanelled with the Management. If any other service provider is engaged, (15) days prior intimation and permission of managing committee to be taken.

PARKING MANAGEMENT To be arranged by the applicant at their own cost.

The applicant can contact SCC Facility Management Firm for arrangement of services (parking management, valet parking, additional security) on payment basis.

CANCELLATION:

(i) If the booking or the Event is cancelled by applicant, the applicants shall be liable for a percentage of the Total Event Charges (Liquidated Damages) as follows:

          (a) Cancellation between 0 – 15 days prior to the Event: the total user charges will be forfeited;

          (b) Cancellation between 16 – 30 days prior to the Event: 50% of the total user charges forfeited;

          (c) Cancellation between more than 31 days prior to the Event: 40% of the total user charges forfeited;

          (d) Cancellation under extraordinary circumstances decision to be taken by the Managing Committee.

          (e) Postponement, subject to availability of date shall be allowed by payment of additional charges i.e., 25% of the user charges.

(ii) In case of cancellation, the security deposit paid if any will be refunded in full.

(iii) If the applicant is unable to conduct the event.
